Regional Legislation Body
Regional Legislation Body has duties and authorities:
- To formulate Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda) Bills which contain a sequence list of Regional Regulation Bills based on priority scale of Regional Regulation Bills establishment enclosed by rationales for each annual budget in the DPRD;
- To coordinate Propemperda formulation between the DPRD and Provincial Government;
- To prepare Regional Regulation Bills derived from the DPRD which are proposals from Propemperda based on priority program that have been assigned;
- To conduct harmonization, round-up and consolidation of Regional Regulations conception proposed by members, commissions, or joint commissions prior to submitting to the DPRD Leadership;
- To participate deliberations on Regional Regulation Bills proposed by the DPRD and Provincial Government;
- To provide advisement against the Regional Regulation Bills formulation proposed by the DPRD and Provincial Government apart from Propemperda;
- To provide advisement to the Leadership of the DPRD on the Regional Regulation Bills derived from Provincial Government;
- To update progress and evaluate the deliberation over the content material of the Regional Regulation Bills through Commissions and/or special committee coordination;
- To deliberate specified Regional Regulation Bills assigned in the plenary meeting of the DPRD;
- To review the Regional Regulation Bills;
- To align final Regional Regulation Bills;
- To follow up Regional Regulation Bills resulting from facilitation evaluation except the Regional Regulation Bill on Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget bills (APBD);
- To make a performance report at the end of the DPRD membership period and inventory problems in the formation of regional regulations as material for the Commission during the next membership period;
- Other duties and authorities as stipulated in this DPRD Regulation and statutory regulations.
