Yes. The Secretariat of the DPRD of East Java Province provides a complaints/aspirations channel that can be used by the public to submit input or grievances to the DPRD. SP4N-LAPOR! is a nationally integrated online complaint service platform in Indonesia. This system was established to facilitate public participation in submitting complaints, aspirations, and requests for information related to public services to the government.
All Indonesian citizens can use SP4N-LAPOR!. The platform is open to the public and can be accessed by anyone who has complaints or feedback related to public services, whether individually or as a group.
You may report various types of complaints, including: public services that are slow, convoluted, or not in accordance with procedures, illegal levies (extortion) or corruption, damaged or non-functional public facilities, disciplinary violations by civil servants (ASN), requests for public information, and aspirations or suggestions for improving policies or services.
You can file a report in several ways: through the website by visiting lapor.go.id, through the mobile application by downloading SP4N-LAPOR! on the Play Store or App Store, or via SMS to 1708 with the format: LAPOR (space) your complaint.
Yes, SP4N-LAPOR! guarantees the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity. You may choose the “anonymous” option when submitting a report if you do not want your identity to be disclosed to the public or the reported party. However, your identity will still be verified by the management team to ensure the validity of the report.
Once your report is received, it will be forwarded to the relevant institution within a maximum of 3 working days. The institution will then verify and follow up on your report. The time frame for resolving reports may vary depending on the type of case, but typically a response from the institution will be provided within 5–10 working days.
You can track the status of your report through the SP4N-LAPOR! website or mobile application using the report number provided after you successfully submit a report. The status will be updated periodically, ranging from “new,” “in progress,” to “completed.”
If your report is not addressed within the specified time frame, you may submit a “follow-up complaint” or press the “report again” button in the system. The SP4N-LAPOR! management team will then notify the relevant institution to promptly follow up on your report.
No. The SP4N-LAPOR! service is completely free of charge for the public.
SP4N-LAPOR! integrates all ministries, government institutions, and regional governments throughout Indonesia. From the national to the local level, all public agencies are required to follow up on reports submitted through this system.
