About Secretariat

Based on East Java Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2016 concerning the formation and composition of regional apparatus of East Java Province and East Java Governor Regulation Number 66 of 2016 concerning position, organizational structure, description of duties and functions and work procedures of the DPRD Secretariat, it is an element of service to the DPRD led by a The Secretary who is technically operational is under and is responsible to the DPRD Leadership and is administratively responsible to the Governor through the Regional Secretary who has the following main duties, functions and organizational structure:

A.    The main tasks of PD
The DPRD Secretariat has the following tasks:

1. Carrying out secretarial and financial administration;
2. Support the implementation of the duties and functions of the Provincial DPRD;
3. Providing and coordinating expert personnel required by the Provincial DPRD to carry out its rights and functions according to needs.

B.    PD Function
In carrying out the tasks as intended, the DPRD Secretariat carries out the following functions:

1. Carrying out DPRD secretariat administration;
2. Implementation of DPRD financial administration;
3. Facilitating the holding of Provincial DPRD meetings;
4. Provision and coordination of expert personnel required by the Provincial DPRD.

C.  Organizational Structure of PD
The organizational structure of the Provincial DPRD Secretariat consists of:

1. DPRD Secretary.
2. General Section, oversees:
   1. Sub-Division of Administration and Personnel;
   2. Equipment and Maintenance Sub-Section; And
   3. Household and Protocol Subdivision;
3. Court Division, oversees:
   1. Meetings and Minutes Sub-Section;
   2. Commission and Committee Subdivisions; And
   3. Community Aspiration Services Sub-Section.
4. Finance Department, oversees:
   1. Sub Division of Program and Budget Preparation;
   2. Treasury Sub-Section; And
   3. Verification Sub-Section.
5. The Legislative Section, oversees:
   1. Legal Products Sub-Section;
   2. Data and Libraries Sub-Section; And
   3. Documentation, Information and Publication Sub-Section.
